Guide: Delete Email Forwards

This guide will show you how to delete Email Forwards attached to the domain(s) that you located in the first two steps.

 

Please be aware that you cannot undo an Email Forward deletion

 

Tip: Refine your domains using the advanced search criteria (step 1) to get a closer match of domains

In this list, you can:
Sort list

1) Locate domains

This is a search in which you specify the domains you want to manage. You must specify these domains before you can make any changes to them. The search includes several optional criteria, which means that you decide what information the search shall be based on.

2) Matching domains

This list of domains is the search result of the “Locate Domains” search. Verify that the domains in the list are those that you want to manage.

3) What would you like to manage?

An overview of the tasks that you can perform. The overview has three categories; Net Services, Email Forwards and MX-records. Each category has two guides that explain how to manage located domains.

4) Select email forwards to delete

Review the list of email forwards. Make sure that the ones you do not want to delete are not checked.

In this step, you can: 

  • Specify which Email Forwards you want deleted.

This step contains:

 



* List of email forwards

* Email alias
The defined alias that handles mail sent to this alias@example.com

* Domain
The domain that is attached to this email alias

* Destination
The email address that all emails are forwarded to

* Uncheck all
Un-tick the checkboxes of the domains whose Email Forwards you do not want to delete.

* Continue
Click “Continue” to approve the deletions, in step 5.

5) Approve Email Forward Deletions

This page shows you the email forwards that you have chosen to delete.

 

In this step, you may:

  • Review the deletions you are about to execute.

This step contains:



* Warning
This warning is a reminder that you are about to delete the Email Forwards marked in red, and that you may want to consult your site administrator before deleting these forwards.

* List of email forwards

* Email alias
The defined alias that handles mail sent to this alias@example.com

* Domain
The domain that is attached to this email alias

* Destination
The email address that all emails are forwarded to

* Delete
Click “Delete” to execute the deletions of the Email Forwards, marked in red.

6) Confirmation

This is your confirmation that the deletions have been executed. Your changes have now taken effect or are pending (depending on the type of DNS change you are carrying out).

  • Where next?
    Click “Go” if you want to carry more changes with the listed domains.
  • Home
    Click “Home” to return to your welcome page.
  • Locate other domains to manage
    Click this link if you want to view make changes to other domains.

Use this link to print the list of MX-Records, for your archives or reports.
